Selena Idioma is a San Diego-based artist who specializes in acrylic painting and portraiture. Selena is passionate about engaging with her community through art.
In 2020, she was given the privilege of helping restore the Che Cafe Collective murals and had the honor of painting portraits for the Anastasio Hernandez Rojas Mural in Chicano Park.
She served as portrait specialist in 2022 on the Lemon Grove Incident Mural project and her piece titled "Te Quiero Antoinette" was featured as an art installation at the Barrio Logan Walk the Block event.
Her portrait titled "Lydia," a piece dedicated to her grandmother Lydia Rivera, was featured as part of the Legends Never Die art show hosted by Sew Loka in July of 2024.
Selena was once again invited to take part in Sew Loka's art show Music 2 My Ears in January of 2025 where she contributed her piece "Ribbon In The Sky."
